About the Florida Bail Agents Association
Who We Are
The Florida Bail Agents Association (FBAA) is the statewide voice and advocate for Florida’s licensed bail bond agents and surety companies. Founded in 1972, the FBAA serves as the professional association dedicated to protecting the integrity of the bail industry, advancing ethical standards, and promoting a fair and effective pre-trial release system across our state.
For over five decades, FBAA has united individual agents, agencies, and surety partners under one mission: to ensure that the bail profession remains strong, respected, and compliant with Florida law.
Our Mission
- Education – Offering required continuing-education courses, updates on Florida Statute 648, and professional development programs that keep our members informed and compliant.
- Advocacy – Monitoring legislation and working with policymakers to protect the rights of bail agents and the citizens we serve.
- Professional Standards – Upholding the highest levels of ethics, accountability, and transparency within the bail industry.
- Community Engagement – Building public understanding of the important role bail agents play in maintaining justice, accountability, and public safety.
